I was asked by Jerico Mechanical to produce a letter that can be used to describe their performance in keeping Home Depot mechanical equipment in good repair. Jerico has been servicing Home Depot at least the last 10 years. During that time we have learned to rely on Jerico for routine maintenance on out air conditioning equipment, as well as "on call" services when they are required.

 

Jerico has always been available to us when we need them, regardless of the time of day.

 

We changed to Jerico from a larger company. We were at first reluctant to think that a local firm could handle our service needs, but have since found out that small to mid size locally owned firms tend to perform better than companies that are behemoth. Jerico has met out needs in regard to specialty equipment such as Novar remote systems, equipment replacements due to age, forklift damage, custom modifications, equipment additions, and relocations due to remodel and store configuration changes.

 

Jerico has done what is needed to keep us operational during periods when electrical system failures have caused more than half our systems in a store to fail. They have always acted in the best interests of Home Depot.

Dear Mr. Bofinger,


    Last year we installed the energy retrofits that you recommended. I wanted to let you know what a great decision this was and how the walk ins performed even on the hottest days of the summer. The energy usage has dropped dramatically in the two units that were retrofitted and the consistency of temperature in them has been very good. With the savings that we are experiencing (47% on the cooler alone) I am working towards retrofitting all units for foot services.

I would be happy to give endorsements for Jerico's energy retrofits if you would like me to. Thanks again Rick for working with me on this project.

Hi Rick:

    

    The doors you installed on our walk-in unity look great, and the work well. The guys who put them in were very nice, and they worked around our hours. We were never out of cold beer.

 

The new retrofit system you put in runs much quieter, and it doesn't run as long. The temperature stays where it is supposed to be. I have noticed that our SMUD bill has dropped a good deal. I'm sure that we will save even more this summer.
